He was my father for over 52 years .He taught me to love , to forgive , to help and to be strong when everything around you is falling down .He copd with incredable problems and i hope i have inhertited just an ounce of his courage and determination .He will be missed by so many , the cards that have flooded in is proof,if it was ever needed, of how many lives he has touch and helped. We must not forget his equally strong and cougarous wife and my mother Mavis .He loved her with such passion, even when things seemed impossible. Every day they would say to each other good night , love you as they went to sleep or at the end of hospital visits . She remains a pillow to us all .
Sidney will make his final farewell to us all on January 15th 2007.He will join his mum ,dad, brothers and sisiters .I rememember being with him in hospital when he was given the news that there was little that could be done to help him , he turned to me and said "well all good thing must come to an end and ive had over 53 years with the most wonderful women in the world" On 3rd January 2007 the world lost a man that was a diamond . Shine on dad and say hello to Ricky for me .
Love you lots more than words can ever say. Tony
God looked around His garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you the day God took you home.
If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk a path to heaven to be with you again.
Good Night Love you
